On-Site Information

Ministry partners: Missionaries Al and Gail Anderson are our primary contacts that we work with in Guatemala. Al spends a great deal of time helping community members construct their homes whether it be concreting a floor, cementing a toilet, or building a roof, as the people’s living conditions are in great need of repair. Al and Gail, live right next to the community’s high school, Basico, of which 480 of the local students attend. Basico has a student teacher ratio of 100 to 1.

Our ministry has been focusing on working alongside the teachers and students, as it is a great way to connect with the community as a whole through each individual student. Currently our main goal is to bring the school the basic necessities for teaching that the teachers have requested this past summer, as the teachers are required to individually provide the materials they need to educate their students. San Juan Tecuaco is a beautiful place where we are privileged to be building relationships with the people that live there.

Lodging: Teams will stay in the home of our ministry partners Al and Gail Anderson
