SLAM will be hosting it’s second Jr. High mission week of the summer. 25 middle school students from North Raleigh United Methodist in Raleigh, North Carolina will join SLAM for a short week of service in Nashville, Tennessee. The students will be participating in 3 days of service to the elderly in Rayon City and a Sudanese Church in Antioch, Tennessee.

First Baptist Church of Gallatin will be serving with us at Trevecca Towers on Saturday, December 12th. We will be cleaning the apartments of the elderly and spending time with them in conversation. Pray that the Lord will be with us as we serve the lonely and forgotten.

Christ the King Church will be serving with us at Trevecca Towers, a local home for the elderly and disabled. A night of serving, cleaning, and storytelling is sure to be enjoyed by all.

Various groups will join SLAM for our final event of the fall to serve the unprivileged in the Nashville area. Times of teaching and worship will compliment the students time in ministry in order to help them live a mission when they return back to their homes.

SLAM will be facilitating a mission weekend in Nashville for various churches from Indiana during their fall break. Students will serve the less fortunate in Nashville while having times of worship and Bible study at the SLAM headquarters. Spots are still available.

This is the first of SLAM’s Fall NSHVLL WKNDs. Groups will serve the underprivileged in the Nashville area while experiencing God through times of worship and teaching each morning and night. These WKNDs are designed to be a mini-version of a SLAM NSHVLL Week.
