Our Mission


In the Philippines, we have mobilized students to serve Filipinos at a local dumpsite as they collected garbage for hopes to sell that day in the market.

SLAM Mission
SLAM mobilizes students to live a mission in imitation of Jesus by serving the poor and marginalized through community service.

Nationally SLAM mobilizes students to live a mission in imitation of Jesus by serving those in need within our own communities.  SLAM facilitates a hands-on educational experience by which students are challenged to take a deeper plunge into a life of discipleship exemplified in service.

Internationally SLAM mobilizes students to live a mission in imitation of Jesus by serving the poor and marginalized in the world.  Hands-on experience is provided for students as they serve “the least of these,” through practical means of relational ministry.
